This fanlisting is for Suki. Dakara Suki, one of the few manga by the genius all-female team of CLAMP that lacks any fantasy or apparent weirdness, except for the fact that it features a teacher-student relationship. It is known and published as simply "Suki" in America and is a very cute story about Asahi Hinata, a rather dense girl who is very cheerful, and she gets a new neighbor who turns out to be her teacher! Much CLAMP cuteness abound, with a porno novelist who also does children's books, etc. ^^;; It is illustrated by Nekoi Mikku, as opposed to the regular character artist, Apapa Mokona, so it is in a slightly different style, which is similar to the kind in Wish, another CLAMP series.
This layout was inspired by my study of manga screen tones o_O;; So I took a picture of volume one's cover and layered it with a single black-and-white photo of swings that I took [childhood memories~] and some tone screen-like layers that I made myself out of the built-in brushes. I like it, it's simple but workable. ^_^
